Out of the 71 students who wrote the ICSE Board Examination, 69 secured distinction and 2 of the students secured First division.

The excellence of the Board Examination results is a befitting end to the effort put in by the students and the guidance given by the teachers.

Our mission has always been to provide the best of class learning programmes right from the Pre-primary and Primary years which are crucial in the development of a child.

It was with this mission in mind that we adopted the iDiscoveri X-seed curriculum, one of the most well researched child centric learning programs for the Classes Nursery to V. I am proud to say that we are the first institution in the twin cities to have implemented this curriculum.

X-seed is an innovative and integrated age appropriate program which enables children to realize their full potential through an experiential learning process. The process of learning is meaningful, stimulating and is made more enjoyable through practice selfexperiences. In order to ensure that, this program is successful, our teachers underwent a rigorous training programme conducted by iDiscoveri personnel. This helped the teachers to change the methodology of teaching from instructionalism to constructivitism.

An electronic board, a new audio visual aid has been installed in the Physics Lab which comes with an 'Inter_Write Work Space' Software.

The school has recently acquired a Megaview TV Microscope. The Microscope, an acquisition of the Biology Laboratory can be connected to the T.V. Wet mounts are used to view specimens that need to remain wet, like living organisms.

This has become a powerful aid for interactive audio-visual presentation of important concepts with options to save all the information taught.

Instilling sound moral values in children is a major part of education at Niraj and is done by giving them value-based spiritual education through diacourses from the Gita. Our teacher, Mrs. Anandi Jaishankar had been placed in charge of this.

The school administration has always matched the standards set by the ISO authorization. The quality control manual ensures systematic and organized functioning of the School as per the norms laid down by the ISO.

Health & safety is one of the most important aspects for an organization's smooth and effective functioning.

The GPRS tracking software is installed to track the location of school buses. To a large extent this helps in mitigating the concern and worry of anxious parents and ensures the safety and security of our students.

We, at Niraj, strictly adhere to safety norms and we have recently installed grills on the open windows in the dining room. We have also installed fire extinguishers on every floor of the school building and have made the students practise evacuating the building in 3 minutes in case of any emergency.

Within the classrooms audio-visual e-learning is the system we follow Class VI upwards.

Metal detectors have been installed at the school gates as extra security measures.

Professional coaching in Cricket, Basketball and Chess help the innate talent of the student to blossom with guidance. Extra coaching in dance, music, keyboard playing. Abacus and Heymaths help the students skill and perfect it.

Our library has a collection of 8,000 books and 600 CDs on a wide range of topics. We hace subscribed to 4 new papers and 28 journals. Our library which functions as the brain center of al the activities in the school, has the internet facility for students and teachers.

We have recently started a web based parent login, wherby every parent can login and be aware of everything pertaining to the class his child is in.

Yoga, so essential in the world of today, forms an integral part of our curriculum.

Since last year we have had cameras installed at strategic points, to monitor discipline and render aid within seconds, to whatever and whomever it has to be rendered.

We also run the Niraj Jyothi Evening School in the Niraj School premises from 4 pm to 6 pm everyday for the underprivileged children with three teachers to supervise them. They are given nutritious meals everyday to combat malnutrition.

Niraj supports two government schools in Ranga Reddy district i.e., the Government High School at Rickshaw Pullers Colony and government school at Sanathnagar, for the past 4 years.

We, at Niraj, support a unique project launched by a voluntary organization in the twin cities, namely "School on Wheels". This mobile school is a ray of hope to less privileged children who are victims of child labour.
