LITERARY

1. The Frank Anthony Memorial All India Inter School Debate Competition was conducted on 1-7-12. Our student Suchitra Krishnaswamy of Class 10 has won the Best speaker Award.

2. Our students Praneetha, Jyothi Swaroop. K, Harshawardhi, Ruchita, Mrinali. G, Jananeshnear, Urjita Saxena, Preesha Jonna, Siddhanth Mathur, Praharsh. G, Sonalika. L, N. Sai Amrit, Sai Aklilesh, and Sailusha of Classes 6 to 10 have won gold , silver and bronze medals in the English Olympiad.

3. Derek ‘O’ Quiz was conducted in N.P.S on 29th June, 2012.Nishanth Babu. P, Apoorva. G , Anjali and Vaishnavi of Vishwamitra house were declared the winner.

4.International Spell Bee, Inter school Championship, was held on 26/8/12 at Gujarathi High School, Secunderabad. Rithika Sunil Rupani of Class 10 A, secured 3rd rank. She is also selected for the State level championship.

5. Jim Corbett: Conducted all India Environment Competition. Simran Mathur of Class 7 was honoured with a Gold Medal and N.Sai Swathi of Class 10 C was honoured with a Silver Medal for securing the first and second position in the country.

6. Our Teachers Mrs. R.N.Bharathi and Ms. Kawaljeet Anand were also awarded with Medals. The best Organising teacher Medal was bagged by our diligent Headmistress Mrs. Lakshmi Krishnan for outstanding performance in Environmental Education, Dr.P. Uday Shankar was also awarded a Medal.

7. The biggest Inter – School Science Quiz, in India, Aqua Degia, was conducted by T.I.M.E. P.V. Nishanth Babu , Chaitanya Murthy , Samaksh Bhatnakar, Yash Pokarana, P.V. Namrath, C. Vineeth Yadhav, Shashank Mathur , Sanjay and Aditya Kasat were awarded with participation Certificates.

8. In spell bee competition conducted by MaRRS Intellectual Services (P) Ltd, Udayasri Surapaneni of Class 5 has qualified for the International Level, while N. Megana of Class 5 has qualified for the National level.

9. P.S.S. Vyshnavi , Jnananeswar, Sai Vittal, Pranitha Sridhar and Avinash were awarded for their participation on the project “Out of the Cocoon”.

10. S Udayasri has won the first prize in Level 5 in the 7th Telangana UCMAS ABACUS & mental Arithmetic Competition held in November 2012 after completing the Level 3 & Level 4

SPORTS

1. B. Ramender Reddy Memorial inter school basket ball tournament was conducted by Niraj Educational Society at Niraj International school.

2. A.P. Region, ICSE / ISE Sports Meet for 2012-2013 was conducted in Hyderabad K. Suchitra bagged the bronze Medal in swimming .

3. In Junior school girls category, S.Udayasri bagged the gold medal in Karate.

4. Deccan Chronicle had conducted basket ball tournament on 6 & 7th January 2012 at Gurukulam Residential School . St.Andrew’s also conducted inter school basket ball tournament. Our boys had qualified for the quarterfinal in both the events.

5. S.Udayasri has won the gold medal in TAEKWONDO competition organized by 4th Annual Deccan Chronicle (DC) Sports Inter School Meet 2012.

6. G.Sai Nikhil Rao was selected to play for H.C.A under 14 cricket team.

7. In A.P. Kungfu open champion ship 2012 K.Sai Krishna Pranay of Class 4 C won Silver medal.

8. Sai Krishna Class 10 A, under 14 Age group has won two Silver 3 broze medals In state level and 1 Broze medal at National level in speed skating.

Co-Curricular

1. Horlicks had conducted a lot of Activity in which our students have bagged a lot of prizes.
  • 1. We won the second prize for Musical play.
  • 2. G. Susmitha got the first prize for fashion show,
  • 3. Praharsh, Nishanth and Chaitainya Murthy has got the first prize for search.
  • 4. Vishnu Priya of Class 8 got the first prize for Telugu essay Writing.
  • 5. Natisha Simran of Class 5 got the Third Prize for 30 second to fame.
  • 6. Anjali of Class 7 C was the runner up for Vegetable Carving.
  • 7. Rithika Sunil Rupani has got the second prize in calligraphy.

2. Our school was adjudged best cheering school and Mr. Kamesh was adjudged the best teacher co-ordinator. Mrs. Suryakala got the third Prize for Retro one minute to fame.

3. ANAS of Class 6 B was the prize winner for the Lactobite contest held in Hyderabad during Aug & Oct, 12 conducted by the Fun Times.

4. Association of ICSE / ISC Schools, A.P.Region, Hyderabad conducted painting competition at Mukarram Zah High School on 24th August 2012. G. Sushmitha and B. Ujwala Reddy of Class 10 have secured II place in the competition.

5. Akshay Sree of Class 2 A participated in Kuchipudi dance programme in Guntur on 9th August.
